Private Childbirth Education Classes in Denver Colorado AND Online!
Evidence-based and trauma-informed birth classes designed to meet you where youβre at.
Our modern culture has taught us to fear birth.
We are often presented with images and stories of pregnant people screaming, yelling, and straight up being traumatized. We are often taught that birth is scary, dangerous, something that you should just try to get through alive. Healthy mom, healthy baby, thatβs all that matters right?
What if it didnβt have to be this way?
The best way to minimize fear around birth, is comprehensive and quality education.
Often times our fears of birth (and other things) come from⦠the unknown. That's where I come in. As a trauma-informed doula and birth educator, I understand the importance of education in minimizing fear and trauma around birth. My birth classes are designed to empower expectant parents with the knowledge and tools they need to have a positive and empowering birth experience.
We'll cover a wide range of topics, including the physiology of labor, comfort measures and coping strategies, mindset, and communication with healthcare providers. We'll also discuss different birthing options, including vaginal birth, cesarean birth, and planned out-of-hospital birth. My goal is to provide comprehensive and evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions about your birth.
But it's not just about providing information.
My classes also focus on building confidence and self-advocacy skills.
I believe that when parents feel confident in their ability to advocate for themselves and their babies, they are more likely to have a positive birth experience.
As an experienced and knowledgeable professional, I am passionate about supporting families during the birth process. I understand that every birth is unique and that there is no one "right" way to give birth.
My classes are inclusive and welcoming to all families, regardless of their birthing choices or circumstances.
This course is designed to be held as a private class in the comfort of your home, or via zoom.
